HOW DOES SPRAY TANNING WORK?

Sunless tanning is achieved by the active ingredient dihydroxyacetone or DHA.  DHA is a derivative of sugar that interacts with the amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to darken it.  Like a natural tan, a spray tan usually lasts 7-10 days and fades as your skin naturally exfoliates.
